A contact form is one of the ways how your customer can send you a message. Catchers Helpdesk has three types of contact form:

1. Regular contact form (by default)
2. Customizable contact form
3. Embed contact form

Each type of contact form had own goal and specialties. Let’s start with the regular contact form.

1. Regular contact form (by default)

We have already make it for you, so you don’t need to build it. All you need is add the special shortcode “ticket-form” on a certain page.

2. Customizable contact form (Pro-feature)

If you need more fields like Date, Profession or Telephone – no problem, you can create your own contact form. In this case, all tickets from that type of form will appear with custom fields.

3. Embed contact form (Pro-feature)

HelpCatcher is a simple embed code you can add to your website, which enables customers to contact you without leaving the page. Just enable it on -> Settings -> HelpCatcher -> Enabled HelpCatcher. Available only in PRO version

FAQ about contact forms

How does it work with the Contact form 7?

It works with the regular contact form 7. Technically it means that our plugin has to inherit set of custom fields from CF7. In that case, you don’t need to create a new contact form again.

How can I redesign your form?

Our contact form inherits CSS from your WordPress theme. So you can do it due to your theme customization.

Is it possible to attach pictures/screenshots?

Yes, you can attach any files WordPress work with (jpg, png, pdf, word, zip and so on).
